Such cocards were in use from the time of their introduction until the collapse of the Soviet Union. They were not segregated in any particular way and were issued to soldiers on a "bow is a bow". Because we know that for collectors and reenactors this is important, we have therefore sorted them into basic types - by shade. The finish of the inner side varies - from clear, to almost smooth.
