Version from 1970-1990 production - stamped from thicker aluminium sheet and painted, bright green, glossy paint. Arm width 22mm. The whiskers for attachment to the cap were clamped onto the special tabs of the star. The star does not react to a magnetic field. These were the same stars as the initial version (gold and red), only that they were painted green.

Such stars were in use from their introduction until the collapse of the Soviet Union. They were not segregated in any particular way and were issued to soldiers on a "star is a star" - because we know that for collectors and re-enactors this is important, we have therefore sorted them into basic types.
