Star M41 on the cap, 1950-60s version, field, 22mm

Green painted star with sickle and hammer for caps, hats and fusillades of Soviet Army soldiers. A version from the 1950-1960 production - stamped from thicker steel plate and painted in a thick, glossy green paint. Arm width 22mm.
Such stars were in use from their introduction until the collapse of the Soviet Union. They were not segregated in any particular way and were issued to soldiers on a "star is a star" - because we know that for collectors and re-enactors this is important, we have therefore sorted them into basic types.
